Innovative piping
The piping in our block brewhouses has been impressing industry experts for years now, not only with its compact design, but also through its ability to exceed the highest standards of quality and flexibility. The advantage of this particular piece of equipment is space-saving construction that doesn’t sacrifice the variety of piping options offered by larger brewing plants. All SCHULZ brewhouses can be used for both infusion and decoction mashing processes. Our newly developed valve clusters add even more to the already long list of Schulz advantages. They’ve helped boost our high-quality standards to new heights without compromising on space-saving compact dimensions. For instance, both the lauter tun and whirlpool can be rinsed at any time, even while the beer is being circulated by the spreader plate during the boil. Additionally, the construction and positioning of the pipe branch fittings have been optimised to eliminate dead space and to prevent backwash of mash residue during the mash transfer. The hygienic design, together with our modern orbital welding technique, is guaranteed to improve the handling of your product throughout the various steps of the brewing process. In future, these new valve clusters will be installed as standard in all 2-vessel brewhouses with a cast out volume of up to 25 hl in corresponding nominal sizes.
