Unique beer range delights visitors

Bamberg – International beer varieties, hearty barbecue and a unique atmosphere: The brewery equipment manufacturer KASPAR SCHULZ once again managed to draw numerous guests from all over the world to the SCHULZ Beer Festival in Bamberg to celebrate beer culture.

“This year's Beer Festival was simply perfect!”, said Johannes Schulz-Hess in the company of his employees. And the numbers would prove the managing director of the long-standing Bamberg company right. The event is held by the family business, which was founded in 1677. The festival is now popular throughout the industry and the last one broke all company records. For the fifth time, KASPAR SCHULZ opened its now hallowed halls on the outskirts of Bamberg for a very special festival. This year, customers and interested visitors were able to taste over 135 different types of beer from international breweries and soak up the unique atmosphere.

On 15th November 2019, over 450 attendees, more visitors than ever before, streamed through the company's production hall, which was recently expanded in 2015. The evening was accompanied by the musical stylings of Jazz Colors Bamberg. A special highlight of the event was the SCHULZ Brewers' Still on display. This whisky still was presented for the first time at the international BrauBeviale trade fair from 12th - 14th November and transported back to Bamberg especially for the beer festival on the night between Thursday and Friday.

However, the main focus of the event was of course tasting the numerous types of beer. In addition to regional specialities from the breweries Keesmann, Heller Bräu or Mahrs Bräu, the Kundmüller brewery from Viereth, for example, also participated with its Rauchbock, which had been brewed in collaboration with the Brazilian brewery Cervejaria Bamberg just a few weeks ago.

The SCHULZ Beer Festival received glowing reviews from the international participants. They enjoyed the event and their stay in the unique beer city very much and will certainly be returning to Bamberg next year, said the visitors. The employees of the Bamberg-based family business KASPAR SCHULZ, which is now run by Johannes Schulz-Hess in the tenth generation, were also very satisfied and enthusiastic about the relaxed and stylish atmosphere of the festival.

So one thing is already certain: the next SCHULZ Beer Festival will take place in November 2020 and will again surely attract many visitors to the Bamberg city of beer.
