We were honored by being awarded as one of the “BAYERNS BEST 50” in the course of the festivities that took place in the Emperor’s Court of the Munich Residenz on the 29th of July, 2015.
The prize commissioned by the Bavarian Ministry of State for Economic Affairs and Media, Energy and Technology dignifies companies that see new chances for growth and employment and act upon them. The laureates were previously audited by the independent Baker Tilly Roelfs AG utilizing objective criteria. Bavaria’s Vice-Prime Minister and Minister for Economic Affairs Ilse Aigner personally complimented the companies for their work and commitment.
Being the oldest industrial company still in existence, SCHULZ has not only expanded its production facilities, but also increased the workforce in the last five years by 52 to a total 148 employees. 17 per cent of the total workforce consists of our own apprentices. The sales volume has also been increased by 67 per cent. These positive developments can be attributed to the acquisition of new markets and the company’s innovative work.
„In my opinion, this award is a direct tribute to the work of my employees in the past few years and to our commitment to creating new jobs. As a historically grown company, we are very proud to have developed this economic potential through our strategic planning”, says owner and CEO Johannes Schulz-Hess.
